The comfort of this boot is outstanding. That's why I ordered a second pair in spite of two drawbacks. I wished the top edge of the boot were not so wide (6 +1/2") that my slacks won't stay inside. I wear the slacks outside of the boot for that reason. Then I ordered the Aarvon Erin with the more narrow cuff (5") at the top edge. The second disappointment is that the leather appears to be bonded and scuffs off easily. They soon appear scruffy, but for shopping, I overlook it.These are nice boots with good cushioning. I'm always happy to find nice looking shoes/boots in narrow. The fit was a little weird-loose in the heel, tighter in the toes so that they move a lot in the heel when I walk. I kept them so it's not too serious.Beautiful boot but does fit very narrow and the suede does tend to run quickly as others have mentioned, but none the less quite comfortable.I love this boot. It fits perfectly and looks great. The heel is a comfortable height...good enough to look fashionable without needing to resort to the stilts that are so popular now. The suede is a nice quality. I clean with a brush after each wearing and the boots look new. I like a short boot under slacks, so this fits the bill. However, they also look good with a short skirt. They're very versatile.An attractive, well-made boot. For a wide foot, the front of the boot is quite comfortable; the back, however is a bit too wide. The heel height is moderate, which makes for comfort, too.Boots appear to be well constructed. Ordered the narrow - as usual they were too wide. Why manufacturers don't produce slim width boots is beyond me.I do not recommend these boots. For the price you would expect a higher quality! After owning them for 5 weeks, wearing them 2-3 times a week if that, the toes of these boots are already peeling! I may as well have gone to Payless or Walmart and bought something cheaper.Also, the wides are too wide. There's a lot of room in the heel and middle part of the foot.Unfortunately, the wide was too wide both in the toe and the heel. I could slip it off without unzipping it. I did exchange it for a medium and it is great. No problems. I appreciated the free return policy.
