The paris is an great everyday sandal with a backstrap for extra stability and support. This sandal has a hook and loop closure at the instep for adjustability and a unique criss-cross strap front to help hold the foot in place. Naot's removable anatomic cork and latex footbed is wrapped in pampering suede and molds to the foot with wear. The cosmopolitan collection features a 2" polyurethane sole with a metal shank and is extremely lightweight and durable.
I have size 5 feet, with a high instep, wide forefoot, and narrow heel and have a hard time finding shoes that fit. Shoes that are the right length tend to be too narrow and shoes that are wide enough in the forefoot and instep slip up and down and blister my heels. Moreover, the front straps on most sandals with any sort of a heel typically rip up my toes as the foot slides forward against the strap. I was thrilled to discover the Naot Paris several years ago. The size 35 fits me perfectly right out of the box, with no blisters or scrapes, and this is my 4th or 5th pair. I was sorry when they discontinued the color I got initially (a sort of iridescent purple), but the bronze shade is nice, too.
