Ahhhhh, Dansko. There you go again. Doing your all-day comfort thing. Making us feel so good on our feet. With excellent arch support and legendary comfort, you let us stand longer than ever. And with great styles in a range of heel heights, you have us feeling all tingly inside, just like the day we first met. When wife and husband team, Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup discovered the world's most comfortable shoe in a tiny shop in Denmark in 1990, they just had to bring some home for their friends. When their friends tried them on, they told their friends. And just like that, a shoe company was born. Now Dansko not only sells their original clogs, but also heels, boots, sandals, wedges and flats too! Every style features the Dansko DNA - materials and construction carefully selected to promote good foot, leg and back health, so that you can stand better, for longer. Say goodbye to choosing between looking good and feeling good. And say hello to having it all.

I love these shoes. I was in need of flats for travel and for walking to and from a trade show. These worked great. I have a long narrow foot, so they were somewhat larger on me, slipping off when I walked, or I would have given them 5 stars. However, whenever I drop to a 40 the arch support never matches up to my foot. I wore them without socks, so that would have helped some. I just adjusted the way I walked so they would not slip off. They are Danskos after all. After my first long day on my feet no stop, I wore these to a networking mixer where we danced for 3 hours. No not the best looking club shoes, but my feet were KILLING me after 9+ hours on my feet. These felt like slippers and I forgot that my feet hurt…between the shoes and having a good time!!If you have a narrow foot and can try at a store that is what I would recommend, or buy 2 pair to try at home and return the 2nd. Had I had time I would have tried these in a 40 as well. I still love them and will wear them all the time once Mother Nature releases us from winter. These have been my go to shoes on nicer days here since I bought them.I tried these on in a store before buying online, so I knew they did not have the traditional Dansko clog soft edge (that helps your foot slide in and out of the heel cup). These have a slightly sharper edge that is breaking in ok, but I wanted to point that out.I find them to be true to size. Noticed other reviewers commenting on the toe box. While it's certainly not a clog-sized toe box, it seems comfortable and normal to me. I am a Dansko size 37 and I have a more narrow foot. So perhaps those with wider feet notice the toe-box.Got the snakeskin, and they are lovely. Has a bit of sparkle to it if you look closely in sunlight, but nothing too goofy.I do notice that with traditional cut jeans on, you only see the toe of the show sticking out, and it feels a bit frumpy. With skinny jeans or leggings or a skirt, these are super cute as you can see the entire profile of the shoe. Heel height is low but not flat, which I like. And as I said, they are breaking in nicely - just don't expect that instant Day 1 comfort that you get with a Dansko clog.Very cute shoes. I got a 38 which is what I wear in the Dansko clogs. These were a little big on the right foot but I have one foot significantly bigger than the other. I got those heel things in the shoe section at Target and now they fit perfectly. I haven't worn them for a whole day yet but so far they are very comfortable.I may have been able to fit into the 37 but I liked that I have some room in these in case I want to wear socks in them. They are very nice looking. The purple is muted and so is the floral design which makes it look a bit different but not bright and obnoxious. Love them so far! I have already gotten compliments on them from my family so far!I got the black as well in November. They don't fit as well as the purple ones..meaning they are going to take some time to break in. The purple fabric ones took zero time to break in! So, be sure to try them on before wearing them out.I've been wearing Dansko clogs for fifteen years. They're my go-to slip-on shoes. The latest pair totally wore out and I decided to try something new, but wanted the support and comfort of Dansko shoes. These have been super. I might even like them better than the clogs because the heel is a bit lower and I haven't rolled my ankle, which happened a few times in the clogs when I walked fast or jogged. I guess I like the shape of the clogs a little more over these loafers, because loafers haven't ever really appealed to me, but the gray snakeskin is fun and these look great with slacks and with jeans. They are just as comfortable to me as the clogs. Fit-wise, I always wore a 39 in the clogs, but a 39 was slightly too big in these and a 38 fit better - a little snug but as I've worn them the leather has loosened a little to fit great. I wish these came in a few more colors, I'd buy some more!I may need to update this review later, but at the moment I am going to say these are ok. They are built with quality and I imagine they will last a very long time. On the other hand I am not able to wear them comfortably for very long right out of the box. It has been a number of months (a year maybe) and I have only used them a couple of times due to the long break in period. I am using stockings/ dress socks while breaking them in or it would just never happen. It is worth mentioning that they are softening up, so I am hopeful that I will start wearing them more frequently and for longer periods of time. If you can't handle a break in period these are not the shoes for youPlantar fasciitis patients beware. I would have given 5 stars but it's not a good show if you have heel pain. It's a good quality shoe just like the clogs but it is way to flat if you have plantar fasciitis/heel Spurs. I'm sticking to the clog which I've always been happy with but there new heels are what I might try next. I can't do flat with the heel pain I have. The front was nice and sleek compared to the clog and not too tight so I'm said about the low heel. :-(Very cute shoes. They can easily be dressed up for work or dressed down with jeans. Unfortunately, they were too small for me. I own four pairs of Danskos and they are all size 37 and fit perfectly. This one in size 37 felt too short and every time I would step I could feel the edge of the shoe hitting the big toe. The width was good but the length wasn't. After I returned them I went to a local store to try a larger size and the size 38 was way too wide, my feet were swimming. So there must have been some mess up in sizing with this particular model. I don't have any similar issues with other Dansko shoes I own (other models that I own that fit perfectly are Tenley, Becky, Betty, and Beatrix). The shoes are really cute. The heal slipped off so I got some heal grippers to insert. That helped a lot. The toe box is pretty rigid too - so I'm trying some tricks to expand it a little bit. I saw on FB how you can put a ziplock bag with 1 cup of water in the toes and put them in the freezer. The ice expanded the toe just enough for comfort. It worked.Comfortable for walking but slip a little on the heel; i'm more in between on Euro sizes - an 8 - and since this Dansko does not fit like their classic or Tenley clog (intended for heel slippage) they feel a little big. Still nice shoe and great price at $50 CAD.
